The second national food consumption survey reached in 2008 produced remarkable results, particularly with regard to the issue of magnesium. Take about one-third of all adults and more than half of 14 to 18 years of young women, according to the study, less magnesium to be recommended as official. A coherent picture, one looks in fact widespread complaints such as leg cramps, numbness, abdominal pain, increased nervousness, lack of concentration, lack of energy and headaches. For all these symptoms are not only typical of a society in constant stress, but also to a magnesium deficiency.
